How the journey has been for Max Verstappen over the years?
The 2016 Spanish Grand Prix was the dream start for the 24-year-old. Verstappen has debuted for Red Bull after swapping seats with Daniil Kvyat in the Toro Rosso. The race couldn’t have started better for the Red Bull star as Lewis Hamilton took race leader Nico Rosberg out of the race. Seeing both the Mercedes out, Max made the most of the situation at hand.
However, the battle for glory was far from over, as Max was constantly pushed by Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. The four-time world champion gave the Dutchman a run for his money for his winning debut. What a lovely debut it was!
Interestingly, the first win for Max Verstappen has come after a hard fight with a Ferrari. Similarly, the latest win has come in the same way. Verstappen has won the latest Jeddah Corniche Circuit race by defeating another Ferrari. This time it was Charles Leclerc.
